Our last test is given at 3PM. We do not drive during high traffic times or in bad weather.

Q - Do I need to make an appointment?
A - No, we give road tests on a walk-in basis ONLY. Please be aware this means there may not be a wait or on busy days you may have several people if front of you. Our last test is given at 3:PM, so please allow yourself plenty of time to get here. Priority is given to our driving students.

Q - What age am I eligible to take the road test?
A - People 16 years of age and older that have had their permit for at least 6 months.
(Students under the age of 18 must have parent permission for the written permit test at
the DMV)

Q - What do I need to bring with me?
A - A valid Alaskan permit or test scores from the DMV (even if over 18),
Current vehicle registration,
Proof of current insurance on vehicle used for test,
We suggest you check the dates to make sure these are not expired

Q - What condition does my vehicle have to be in?

Q - Do you have a vehicle I can use?
A - We have vehicles available for rental, please call to confirm the day of your test.

Q - What happens if I fail the test?
A - If you do not complete the test successfully you must wait 7 days before you can retake road test anywhere, this includes
the DMV and all other testing facilities. We suggest spending some time, studying your course information, the DMV driving manual, and practicing what areas you need to work on, then returning when you feel comfortable to re-test. We have cones
in the parking lot available to practice parallel parking, or feel free to call us with any questions you may have.

Q - Do I have to pay if I fail the test?
A - Road tests are non-refundable regardless of the results. Each time a tester must give a road test you will be charged.

for your license.
